UPDATES (@ August 15th, 2011):

The Fiji NCF 2011 Annual Conference was held from June 10~13 at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi, Fiji. For the first time ever, we also had a full day of professional sessions only.

The Fiji NCF monthly newsletter called "Bula Nightingale" will be launched by the end of this month. The first few issues will only be circulated in digital PDF format until such time when we can be sure of the production of a sustainable supply of print form, in high quality. Please keep praying for that.

Fiji NCF is very committed to getting all retired nurses who were once members of the FNCF and those retirees that are interested in being part of this body, to join our currently few active mothers on the "Gold Members Club". They are already working on a very important project of the body and that is the FNCF Chronicles - the history book of FNCF. We hear some whispers that they plan to launch the printed version of this document at the 2012 annual conference!! Go the Gold Team!!

At this year's conference, one very outstanding observation was the participation of quite a number of Indo-Fijian girls from the FNU School of Nursing Christian Fellowship! Praise the Lord! This is obviously an answer to all the prayers FNCF has prayer all these years, for God to help us reach out to all the races in Fiji, particularly the other major race in Fiji, our Indian brethren! It is probably harvest season now! We give thanks to God for the lives of our former members who have come and gone through the FNCF body! It was most encouraging to see these girls worship their hearts out to the Lord in song and dance! Times are definitely changing in Fiji and yes! God is indeed moving behind the scenes!! Please continue to pray for the Student Nurses CF and we will be posting on this website some updates and testimonies from Tamavua, every so often.
